One of our top-selling products on our site are the CBD Tinctures. There are so many reasons as to why people love them. So, it’s no surprise why our CBD Tinctures are so popular; However, here are some reasons to try them if you haven’t already.
What is a CBD Tincture?
What is a CBD Tincture
Let’s start off with the basics, what is a CBD tincture? They are concentrated Hemp extracts that pull the CBD from the plant. Also, our CBD Tinctures use Full Spectrum CBD which means you’re getting all of the properties from the Hemp plant, not just CBD. This includes at least 113 known cannabinoids.
We currently offer 3 different strengths which include: 1,000 mg, 1,500 mg, and 2,000 mg. You are able to get 5 different flavors which include: Lemon Lime, Orange, Pink Grapefruit, Peach Pear, and Cucumber Mint. One important thing to note is that our CBD has won an award this year, 2020 for Best CBD Brand. So, our Tinctures are being recognized by everyone all over as being delicious and effective.
Terpenes
If you’ve ever smelled raw Hemp you would know that it has a smell similar to Marijuana. Therefore, if our tinctures didn’t have Terpenes you probably wouldn’t like the raw-Earthy taste. So, for this reason we add Terpenes to our tincture to give it a more enjoyable taste. Also, it enhances the experience of the tincture by promoting relaxation. Our tinctures don’t have a strong flavor profile; it’s more subtle because we want to ensure you’re getting the most out of the CBD.
How Savage CBD Tinctures Are Made
How Savage CBD Tinctures Are Made
We use a CO2 extraction process in order to produce our Full Spectrum CBD. Once we have our full Spectrum CBD we turn it into a usable oil (with no added chemicals or emulsifiers). We then use our proprietary process to blend the Full Spectrum CBD with MCT Coconut Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Terpenes, and Essential Oils to bring you an all-natural CBD Tincture.
How Are Other Tinctures Made?
While we can’t say for certain how other companies make their tinctures, we can give you a general way that we see most tinctures being made. Tinctures that are infused with cannabidiol are usually made through a combination of alcohol and hemp plant extracts. CBD tinctures are infused or cooked for people to enjoy without having to vape it.
Once the CBD compounds are infused and the alcohol has boiled off, the liquid can be extracted. Most CBD tinctures have other oils and ingredients added to enhance flavor. After that, the liquid is bottled and ready for use. Although this process is deemed safe you’ll want to check their lab reports to see if any heavy metals or pesticides are in their products.
How To Use A CBD Tincture
How To Use A CBD Tincture
The easiest way to consume a tincture is to use the dropper that is provided with the bottle. Our dropper comes with measurements on them so you can see just how many milliliters you are consuming. However, if you’re using a dropper without measurements you can just drop a few drops under the tongue. We recommend leaving the CBD oil under your tongue for about 30 – 45 seconds.
When you take CBD sublingually it is absorbed by the blood vessels in your mouth. Typically you’ll start to enjoy the CBD after 15 – 30 minutes of taking the CBD. It can last for about 2 – 4 hours depending on the strength you are taking. One important thing to note is that if the tincture is high strength like 2,000 mg you won’t need to take as much compared to a 1,000 mg.
Adding Tinctures to Food And Drink
You are able to add the tincture to many foods or drinks. When you ingest CBD it gets processed through your liver. This can cause you to enjoy the CBD within 30 – 90 minutes. Also, most consumers use it to counteract the effects of coffee and tea. It also works great in salad dressings because the cannabinoids are fat-soluble. This means that when it’s processed through the liver it is absorbed along with the fats in the salad dressing.
Which Method is Better?
The best method is the one that is more convenient for you. If you’re a person who is constantly on the go then taking it sublingual would probably be the best; this means dropping it directly under your tongue. If you’re a person who enjoys savoring their food then ingesting it with food or drink is probably the best method for you. We recommend trying both methods and see which one you prefer.
The Difference Between CBD Edibles and CBD Tinctures
The Difference Between CBD Edibles and CBD Tinctures
One of the biggest differences between Tinctures and Edibles is that Edibles are typically made from fat-based carrier agents. For example: our CBD Gummies are made with gelatin that derives from the collagen from animals. This is what adds the Gummy texture that we all love. On the other hand, our CBD Tinctures contain MCT oil which makes them oily and easy to swallow.
One common factor is that if you ingest a Tinctures in a drink or food it gets processed by your liver the same way as an edible. Edibles tend to be very concentrated because each piece of gummy is packed with CBD. Our Tinctures on the other hand contain a certain amount of CBD that has been spread out into milliliters. If you’re looking for something potent than CBD Edibles is a great product; However, CBD Tinctures are also potent depending on the strength and how much you take.
