The Two Learning Paths: FlexPath and GuidedPath
Capella students complete assessments under two primary learning paths: FlexPath and GuidedPath.
FlexPath is a self-paced format that allows students to move through their coursework as quickly or slowly as they choose. Once an assessment is completed and graded, the next one is Capella Assessment. There are no fixed deadlines, making it ideal for working professionals or those with unpredictable schedules.
GuidedPath offers a more structured environment with weekly deadlines, instructor interaction, and participation-based components. Assessments are still the central form of evaluation, but the pace is set over 10-week quarters.
